To all those interested in having a great adventure,
I have been to Southern Africa with Go Africa Safari 3 times now over the last 6 years and I would go again in a heart beat.
Each trip has been between 6 and 8 weeks and we have travelled approx. 30,000Kms this has allowed me to see a lot of Southern Africa – 7 countries in total.
We have travelled in 4×4’s , mini buses, planes, helicopters, microlites, cable cars, quad bikes, boats and elephants and always in complete safety while enjoying the best adventures of my life. My biggest complaint has always been that I never got to have Toyota 4×4’s. I am not a Landy fan.
The first trip I took my 16 year old son and we created memories we will share for life. Really, who gets to go white water rafting with their son down the Zambezi river, quad biking in the magnificent desert’s of Namibia and lying down and hugging majestic lion’s.
We created memories, laughed, played and developed a love for the people and the wonders of Africa from Capetown to Victoria falls.
On Trip 2 and 3 My wife came with me and we enjoyed many more wonders of this continent as well as having a wonderful time together.
On one occasion we were visiting the Cango Caves in South Africa when I ran into an Aussie who told me that he came to Africa for holidays regularly and he described it as Australia on steroids, a brilliant description I thought.
A significant feature which attracted me to go 3 times was the incredible friendship offered by the Tour leaders, Hennie a lovable South African who gets a bit of his English mixed up and his Darling wife Martie who always knows what is going on, they were such great hosts and friends I can’t wait to go again in a year or two.
On each trip one down side has always been that the food was so good everywhere we went that I put on several kilo’s.
Thank you Go Africa Safari for giving me the opportunities of a life time.

Hennie’s Southern African Safari was truly an amazing experience. It took us into a new world of culture, history and wildlife. We went places, saw sights and had experiences that commercial off the shelf tours never achieve. What’s more, the cost was very reasonable. Hennie’s network of local contacts and in-depth knowledge of Southern Africa ensured a memorable time. Thanks Hennie and Martie.

Our African trip was something very special and made that much a better experience by the great bunch of people we went with. Africa left us with new appreciation of our wonderful world and a desire to return to that fabulous continent. Too many good experiences to mention here. If you have a chance to go there grab it fast as the Hennie Marty safari experience will not disappoint.

We had the time of our life with “Go Africa Safari”. Hennie and Martie made the trip so much fun, their local knowledge is invaluable. It was like three holidays in one. This is the best value for money safari and yet offering a top experience. Hennie will go out of his way to tailor make the safari to fit your needs.

In 2009 we went on a Southern African Safari with Hennie Murray. We enjoyed it so much we went again in 2011 and again in 2013. We found that each time we went was better than the last.
We enjoyed the friendliness, hospitality & organisation of the Hennie Murray Tours, we intend to go again in the future, as we felt completely safe at all times.
We would highly recommend any tours with Hennie Murray’s team.

It was one of the great travelling experiences of our lives that You and Martie, Douw and Maralinda made possible for Glenda and I through your knowledge, organizational skills, time and generosity. I know you may say it’s “what you do” but for us it was a complete experience that you made affordable to us, accompanied by your tireless enthusiasm and unfailing good humour. It was extraordinarily wonderful. We have great pleasure still, remembering together and recounting to others the daily highlights of those wonderful weeks. Glenda especially did things that she would never have done without the reassuring encouragement you provided to the group. She came home “more than a conqueror!” A priceless gift and one that I also treasure for her. In conversation recently with someone about traveling in South Africa I heard her say that she never felt unsafe on your tour. Your encouragement also encompassed photography and we have many more great photos than we likely would have had without it. So thank you! we doubt we would ever have experienced the peoples, cultures, animals, scenery and cuisine of Africa but for you and certainly not as comprehensively.
